IVSC1 Solar Generation FieldNiland, Imperial County, CA
The IVSC 1 Solar Project is located in the Townsite of Niland, Imperial Valley. This 23 megawatt
solar photovoltaic energy generation project encompasses approximately 123 acres and incorporates
fixed-tilt PV technology. Construction was completed in 2012, at which time began the delivery of
renewable energy to the Imperial Irrigation District.
Hale Engineering provided civil engineering and surveying services including topographic surveys
and base mapping, A.L.T.A. Survey, grading plans, street improvement plans, erosion control plans,
terrain modeling and earthwork calculations, quantity estimates, hydrologic/hydraulic calculations,
storm water retention design, and drainage report, project processing and coordination, Water Pollution
Quality Technical Report (WQTR), Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) and QSD/P services.
