Fletcher Cove Park is a beach front park located in the City of Solana Beach. With its ocean development
theme, the park has received numerous awards for its creative design placing public gathering areas,
a tot lot, ½ basketball court, amphitheater, parking and beach access within the confines of a two-acre site.
Hale Engineering provided civil engineering and surveying services including topographic surveys, street,
surface and site utility improvement plans, grading plans, erosion control plans, terrain modeling and
earthwork calculations, quantity and cost estimates, hydrologic/hydraulic calculations and drainage report,
preparation of exhibits for public workshops, construction staking and layout, construction observation,

Paseo Del MarCoronado, San Diego County, CA
Running along the beach from the Hotel Del Coronado to the east of Ocean Boulevard/ R.H. Dana
Place, the Paseo del Mar is a pedestrian walkway/emergency vehicle access road constructed for
and maintained by the Hotel Del Coronado.
The Paseo Del Mar is just one of many projects Hale Engineering has designed and surveyed for
the Historic Hotel Del Coronado over the last 15 years.

Ridgeline TrailheadSan Marcos, San Diego County, CA
Construction was completed on the Ridgeline Trailhead (San Elijo Equestrian Staging Area) project
during the summer of 2010. This project is located in San Marcos off of Twin Oaks Valley Road.
It provides a “launching point” for hiking, biking and equestrian use of the trail system. The staging
area provides parking with a restroom facility.

Sea World is an animal theme park, oceanarium, outside aquarium, and marine mammal park, located
at San Diego’s Mission Bay.
For over 15 years, Hale Engineering has provided Sea World San Diego with on-going civil engineering
and surveying services. We have been involved with many projects throughout the park, including
Shipwreck Rapids, Journey To Atlantis, Dolphin Interaction Program, Manta, Caribbean Realm, the
easterly parking lot expansion, the Mission Bay Bike Path and the upcoming 2014 Attraction.
