
Salton Sea Interconnection Project

The Salton Sea Interconnection Project (SSIP) is 230kV transmission line located in Imperial Valley. The total length is approximately 8 miles and is an integral part of the Imperial Irrigation District’s infrastructure for renewable energy.
Hale Engineering provided surveying services for the IID on both Phase 1 and Phase 2, including boundary and topographic surveys, base mapping, Record of Survey, Right-of-Way drawings, legal descriptions and plats, closure calculations and reports, construction staking and layout.
